Dear South Decatur Jr/Sr High School Families,

As we approach the midpoint of the school year and begin the second semester, it is my pleasure to reflect on the achievements of the first half and look ahead to the possibilities that the remainder of the academic year holds.

The first semester has been a time of substantial growth, learning, and making strong connections within our school community. I am incredibly proud of the resilience and dedication our students have shown. We have seen growth and resilience in the classroom and beyond.

Whether this is your first year with us or you are a returning family, the entire team at South Decatur Jr/Sr High School remains committed to providing a nurturing environment that supports every student’s academic and social development.

As we move into the second half of the year, I encourage all students to approach upcoming challenges with a positive mindset. Remember that our dedicated teachers and staff are here to support you every step of the way. Every challenge presents an opportunity for growth.
